I’ve been fascinated with movies and filming things for as long as I can remember. I would rent movies every other day from the local rental place, and would pester my family to buy me VCDs and DVDs of the latest releases, watching them repeatedly until the discs gave up. I remember using old Yashicas, Ricohs, the first generation of Sony Cyber-Shot cameras, and Handycams which ran on tape – which evolved into mini-DVDs and SD cards. It seemed only natural to me that I channel this childhood obsession of mine into a whole career.

I’m a film-maker, photographer and writer who has assisted in and led several productions – fiction, non-fiction, commercial, and theatre. Although I work primarily as a writer and editor, I am also moderately skilled at photography and graphic design.

I spend a good amount of my time reading, and I like to gain a historical and cultural perspective of people and places for an increased understanding of the world around me.
